3inch lag bolts, commercial grade stainless steel bars ....
uuuuhmmm ...not like I have ever had to replace any ....really ...but it works!
Speaking as one who has worked as a caregiver to the frail and the feeble, I've been saying for years that all towel bars should be reinforced grab bars, since sooner or later they'll be used that way.
Yes, what spirit said. Lag bolts through the studs, steel bars. Not that I'd know this from personal experience either.... *cough* ahem.
